Our products and solutions find a host of different applications in seating and seating systems, not just in the automotive industry but in other sectors too. Major global suppliers – OEMs as well as systems suppliers – rely on our expertise. And so we make our own small contribution to ensuring that people can be seated comfortably and safely in cars, buses, trains and aircraft.

The classic JUMBO products are elastic tapes and braids, which are used, amongst other things, to secure seat covers or close map pockets
 Furthermore, we are constantly developing new, individually tailored fastening solutions, for instance to tighten seat covers
 Here, our expertise in combining narrow textiles with plastic or metal parts comes into play, for instance in the adjustment of seat height: an elastic cord is integrated into the structure of the seat and is then securely attached to the seat on the other side. On the ends are hooks and rings.

Many of our innovative concepts are the result of collaboration with the automotive industry over many years. Here durable, easily scalable systems take centre stage. One example of this is our elastic tape with buttonholes, which can be set into the seam of a map pocket as a fastening. It can be hooked on at set points. The client can thus adjust the elasticity of the bag. The distance between buttonholes is also completely a matter of choice, from a few centimetres up to metres. The buttonholes are woven in and cannot rip.

We have particular expertise in the field of release and retaining straps. For example, the seat release strap which is a combination of elastic braid and an inelastic belt strap that serves to limit how far the loop extends. This combination ensures that the loop is visible only when it is pulled out for the purpose of releasing the seat (as far as the point to which it can extend, as determined by the belt strap) – otherwise, it is present but unobtrusive
