Welding of elastic and non-elastic belts using ultrasound is possible now
Since 2009 company JUMBO-Textil GmbH & Co. KG and its subsidiary Clemens Sterthues GmbH are able to,
- cut, mark and punch belts with a proportion of polyamide and / or polyester up to a width of 100 mm by ultrasound according to customers requirements. The extensive automation makes this procedure cost-efficient. This technique guaranties “flat cutting edges” for our customers.
- Additional there is the possibility to compact and squeeze the cutting edges wedge-shaped, what results in extremely clean and flat endings. Furthermore this avoids, that the elastic threads (spandex, latex) of our elastic belts slip out in the course of later processing. By that there is no need of any extra-manufacture of the cut belts (e.g. sewing) what causes a saving of time and costs for the customer.
- Furthermore it is planned to transfer this technology also to widths up to 270 mm.
We look forward to your inquiries!
